Adidas Women’s Taekwondo Shoes — $100
Adidas has been killing it over the past couple of years, and their Taekwondo Shoes are no different. Yes, they may seem like an odd choice to gift someone or yourself, considering that they have roots in mixed martial arts. But, considering the popularity of low-profile kicks like the Samba, the Reebok’s Club C 85, and Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, it shouldn’t be that difficult to understand the possibilities of the shoe. Plus, with an affordable starting price of $100, it’s difficult to argue with.

Adidas AE 1 “Stormtrooper” — $120
For that sneakerhead in your life who loves the latest and greatest basketball kicks that could be rocked off the court, have no fear. Anthony Edwards first signature shoe from Adidas is a knockout hit and easily one of the best sneakers in the past couple years.
The AE 1 “Stormtrooper” plays off its black and white colorway, giving you straight Star Wars vibes with this model. These sneakers have perfect traction and ankle support for on-court performance and a fly design for the days you trying to get that fit off. Anthony Edwards’ AE 1 is usually marked at $120, unless you’re copping from a resale site—which then, things can get pretty pricey.

Nike Sabrina 2 “Oregon” — $130
But wait, Nike ain’t no slouch, either, you heard? One of the best-selling basketball sneakers to release this year, whether Nike or otherwise, is Sabrina Ionescu’s signature sneaker. The Nike Sabrina 2 “Oregon” was on the star’s feet when she sank a three-point shot to win Game 3 of the WNBA finals. Now, as the New York Liberty have become WNBA Champions, the sneakers have now become synonymous with Ionescu’s biggest shot of her career. The sneakers pay homage to the athlete’s alma mater, Oregon, which just so happens to be the state that Nike was founded in. Rocking green and yellow throughout the upper and midsole, the “Oregon” is perfect for hooping and even to get that fit off when it’s not snowing outside.

Timberland Women’s Roxie Lane Mid Chelsea Boot — $140
Timberland is known for their “buttahs or “yuttah,” but quiet as kept, they have an array of shoes that should get a little more love. One of the pairs that actually shocked my wife and me was their Roxie Lane Chelsea Boots for women. By shocked, I mean impressed because these shoes are remarkably comfortable and versatile. Timberland’s Chelsea Boot feels like a cloud due to the brand’s hyper-responsive and smooth TimberCrush technology, developed with coziness and the great outdoors at the center of their design. The Roxie’s TimberGrip outsole is crafted to give the consumer the perfect traction while on the trail. Meanwhile, the boot is sleek and pretty enough to rock in a more business-casual outfit as well. If you want a versatile boot for the holiday season, look no further. You can purchase the boot here. -
Birkenstock Suede “Boston” — $145
On the cozier side of the holidays, may we interest you in the Birkenstock Boston? The clog features a suede insole with a cork foot sole, with a familiar, consistent comfort that has become synonymous with the brand. To be frank, if you or someone you know is in dire need of a cozier lifestyle, the Boston is one of the easiest gifts and or purchases you could make this year. You’ll need some time to break the footbed in, but once that’s done, you’ll have a real treat.
Birkies can be purchased here for men and here for women.
-
Steve Madden Rocky Black Leather — $160
Biker boots have been making a staunch return to mainstream fashions as Gen Z continues their infatuation with early oughts-inspired looks.
Admittedly, the biker boot trend began in 2022 and has reached a fever pitch as we dive deeper into fall 2024/winter 2025. Gen Z women first began throwing the boots on in “Wrong Shoe Theory” experiments, which saw them pairing outfits with shoes that supposedly didn’t work but ended up making their outfits far more interesting.
Biker boots became a “throwback” star in the midst of this and have since catapulted the shoe back into the hearts of many. Steve Madden’s Rocky Black Leather pair became a go-to staple for the ladies, as it was calm enough to rock with anything and eye-catching enough to make a statement.

Nike Dunk Low SB “Big Money Savings” — $175+
Nike‘s SB Dunks are seeing a consistent rise in love as the brand continues dropping fire colorways for the sneaker. “Big Money Savings” was one of the year’s unique releases. Easily. The drop was, of course, a limited release on Nike’s SNKRS app, so you won’t be able to go and just snag these from your local retailer. If you think this mixture of textiles, textures, and premium leather is worth it, you’ll have to head to GOAT and or StockX. Trust me, these kicks are worth it.
-
Adidas Bad Bunny & Messi Gazelle — $180+
Back in October, Adidas released a collaboration with Bad Bunny and Lionel Messi to celebrate both of the entertainer’s Latino heritage. The result was a collection built upon the “promise of authenticity.” Benito and Lionel were instrumental in the sneakers’ color and feel, with the shoes featuring easter eggs for both Adidas and the two superstars. Of course, the shoes have since sold out as they were initially released on Adidas’ exclusive Confirmed app. However, fans will be able to snag the shoe on multiple resale sites like GOAT.
-
Women’s Air Jordan 4 “White & Gold” — $200+
Where the Air Jordan 1’s hype has come to a halt, the Air Jordan 4 is picking up the baton and restoring that feeling. Jordan Brand knocked it out of the park for the ladies, releasing the AJ4 “White & Gold.” The colorway is a masterclass in quiet luxury, which is right on time to capitalize on the trend of the same name. The sneaker features hits of understated Metallic Gold, which exist alongside hues of Sail and Light Bone. It’s the beauty of opulence without overindulging to make it pop. Man, these sneakers hit every single note of that statement and then some, for real. While the shoe is already sold out, folks looking to cop for the holidays will have a better chance on GOAT and StockX.
-
ASICS Gel-NYC “Hidden NY” — $200+
Asics Gel-NYC “Hidden NY” is one of the most underrated shoes on this list. While the Asics brand has seen quite the increase in notoriety and profile over the past 4 years, 2024 saw their offering of “dad shoes” hit another level. The “Hidden NY” colorway features sleek silver, grey, white, and green hits with the Hidden logo positioned at the heel. “Hidden NY” combines Asics’ greatest hits, featuring design language from the GEL-NIMBUS 3 shoe of the early aughts and the GEL-MC PLUS V design. The shoe has been quietly picking up steam and may start selling out soon, mark our words. So, get this kick as a gift while you still can.

& Other Stories Chunky Leather Loafers — $219
Last year, I featured some loafers on the Holiday kick list for folks to potentially shop for the holidays. And they were well-received! So, I had to bring one of my favorite types of shoes back, but this time for the ladies. Introducing & Other Stories Chunky Leather Loafers.
First of all, loafers are timeless pieces that can never go out of style. Secondly, even if they do, you’d still be the flyest in the room. & Other Stories chunky model is perfect for the fall and winter months, crafted with 100% leather and insane traction with complex grooves on the bottom of the shoe. The $219 pair of shoes is available in Black and red colorways, with both of the models selling out insanely fast. If you or someone in your life is looking to add a different kind of element to their drip, try to grab these joints while you can here.

UGG Women’s Classic Mini Dipper Puffer — $200
Uggs are a consistently easy holiday gift for your loved ones, and their newest model, the classic mini dipper puffer, fits the bill. Admittedly, the model is not the most subtle design ever, as the mini dipper dons a puffer-coat-like sleeve at the top of the shoe. The shoe’s design promises a coziness that has become almost synonymous with Ugg‘s brand, making the mini dipper puffer the perfect shoe to kick back and sip on some egg nog in.
Folks can purchase a pair here.
