Don't ask me to fall asleep before my nightly cranial nerve exam. ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) videos have been a long-time staple in my nighttime routine, but thanks to social media, it's easier than ever to curl up in bed and doze off to the sleepy gurgling of bubble wands and soft dragging of makeup brushes. In essence, ASMR videos use visual and audio-based "triggers" to reduce anxiety and help you fall asleep. These triggers are meant to initiate a tingling sensation most people feel from the scalp to the upper spine.
In recent years, TikTok has become one of the biggest gold mines for all kinds of ASMR triggers (and ASMR artistry in general), featuring everything from fairy-themed role play to noisy mukbangs. But with so many creators to choose from, it's not always easy to find what you're looking for. Whether you're just getting into ASMR or you're a tried-and-true fan looking to add to your rolodex, you'll enjoy our favorite ASMR artists on TikTok for all the triggers and tingles. While these creators all have different strengths, each one has an impressive and unique approach to ASMR for better sleep and stress relief. Read on to see some of the best ASMR artists on TikTok — according to actual fans of ASMR — including content highlights for each.
Safe Space ASMR: Face Measuring
ASMR should always be a safe space, but we feel especially comfortable with Safe Space ASMR. This face measuring trigger is one of our favorites on her page, but her medical role play (including this unique ASMR prescription trigger) is also a top contender.
Whispering Willow ASMR: Sensory Tests
Is it sharp or dull? Feel your stress melt away with these tingly sensory tests from Whispering Willow ASMR. We also love this vision test if you didn't get enough tingles the first time.
VictoriASMR: Face Tracing
For tingly face tracing videos, VictoriASMR is the way to go. We love all the personal attention on her page, plus the positive affirmations she includes at the end of her videos.
Miss Manganese: Chaotic ASMR
If you like your ASMR on the faster side, Miss Manganese's chaotic role plays and personal attention videos will be right up your alley. Her fast hand fluttering also makes for a great visual trigger, so you have an even higher chance of tingles.
Jocie B ASMR: Creative Role Play
Jocie B has some of the most creative ASMR role plays on TikTok, featuring full makeup, costuming, storylines, props, and a well thought-out storyline. We're always equal parts entertained and relaxed by the end (plus, her positive personality is the best).
Pure Honey ASMR: Historical ASMR
History buffs will appreciate the detailed storylines of Pure Honey ASMR's calming role plays. We love the dedication (and the tingly props) that go into each ASMR TikTok.
Julieta ASMR: Spanish ASMR
This abuelita ASMR is great for anyone looking to de-stress in Spanish. Julieta ASMR has Spanish ASMR down pat, but her slime videos are also a major highlight.
Celaines ASMR: Fast-Paced ASMR
CelainesASMR delivers fast and entertaining videos packed with triggers. We especially love her ASMR role plays, complete with hand fluttering, personal attention, and visual cues.
Maddie Leigh: Personal Attention
Sometimes you just need a little personal attention. Maddie Leigh is one of the best at this kind of ASMR, adding several different triggers to each TikTok so you feel cared for, relaxed, and ready for bed by the end.
ItsDajaASMR: Makeup ASMR
Lots of ASMR artists pretend to apply makeup on the viewer, but ItsDajaASMR actually applies the makeup herself (and tells you what she thinks). We love all the tingly makeup sounds, and getting to watch the look come together is an added bonus.
Karuna Satori: Fishbowl Effect
One of the most iconic figures in the ASMR game, Karuna Satori also happens to be the creator of the viral fishbowl effect (shown here). Her detailed role plays and calming energy make her an enduring ASMR favorite of ours.
OG Slimes: Slime Scoops
If you've never seen this account rate the "scoopability" of its weekly slime drop, you're seriously missing out. While OG Slimes isn't technically an ASMR artist, our editors still love listening to the crunch, crackle, and pop of the slime scoops for some stress-relieving ASMR.
Ozley ASMR: Quiet ASMR
Our editor had to pause from work to watch this video in its entirety — it's that good. We love the quiet tone and slower pace in all of Ozley ASMR's TikToks, but the creativity in this one is especially impressive.
Sassy Sounds ASMR: Eating Sounds
There's something so fun about watching someone eat interesting candy. If you're a fan of eating or mouth sounds, Sassy Sounds ASMR has you covered with crystal candies, hot pickles, and freeze-dried treats.
Joyceful Tingles: ASMR Toys
As a form of personal attention, Joyceful Tingles uses ASMR toys to make unique sounds in her TikTok videos. The end result is both relaxing and super tingly (this makeup palette is one of our favorites).
ASMR Belle: Sleep ASMR
When we're ready for bed, we turn to ASMR Belle. She'll help you doze off with a healthy dose of brushing, fluttering, and relaxing whispers, among plenty of other sleep-inducing triggers.
Angelic Lofi ASMR: Coconut Rain
Angelic Lofi ASMR is the creator of the coconut rain trigger, and we can't say enough good things about it. The combination of mouth sounds and visual triggers are almost guaranteed to give you tingles.
Mellow Maddy ASMR: Mouth Sounds
Mellow Maddy ASMR has truly mastered the art of tingly mouth sounds. This TikTok is on the faster side, with whispering, tapping, and hand fluttering, but there's plenty more to choose from on her page.
Sunshine Jazzy ASMR: Bugs
Sunshine Jazzy ASMR has a colorful aesthetic and lots of unique triggers. Although they most often do their ASMR on TikTok Live, you can get a sense of what to expect here. One of Sunshine Jazzy's most iconic triggers involves picking "bugs" out of a fluffy microphone, but we also love props like bubble wands.
