2024 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival Day 2: Erykah Badu, Sexyy Redd, And More

On Sunday (Nov. 17) ticketholders headed to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles for a second day of fun at the 2024 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival. The event brought stunning vocal performances, homages to Hip-Hop legends, and party-ready sets from the star-studded lineup.

Performers included Domo Genesis, Jean Dawson, Earl Sweatshirt, Tommy Richman, Blood Orange, Na-Kel Smith, Orion Sun, Faye Webster, and more.

Audience members locked their eyes on RAYE, Syd, and Jordan Ward as they proved their vocal talents in their performances. Fans got a special treat when Grammy-nominated musician 6LACK joined Jordan Ward to perform their “MUSTARD” collaboration.

During Sexyy Red‘s lively set, the audience turned the festival grounds into a full-on party, rapping the St. Louis representative’s street anthems word for word. During Andre 3000‘s set, performing music from his Grammy-nominated woodwind album New Blue Sun, Camp Flog Gnaw revelers watched curiously, in awe of the enchanting performance but also wondering if the Southern musician would ever return to rap.

An additional highlight ahead of the headlining act came in the form of tributes in two separate acts. When Mustard took the stage, he not only put on for the West Coast but made sure to pay homage to Fatman Scoop who passed away earlier this year. His set also included surprise pop-outs from his friends, including Tyga and Big Sean.

An astounding moment of the festival came in the FM MOOD: A TRIBUTE TO MF DOOM showcase, with Erykah Badu, Madlib, and an orchestra performing the late rapper’s music with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson conducting, wearing an MF DOOM mask. Fans sang, swayed, and cried during the emotional moment, arguably one of the night’s best sets.

Day 2 ended with an anticipated performance from Playboi Carti. The audience sang along as he performed and erupted in applause as the Weeknd joined the 29-year-old on stage to perform their “Timeless” collaboration.
