San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy hopes to have a contract extension done sooner than later, so he can be ready for a full offseason program.
"I want to obviously get it done," Purdy told reporters. "If that's an opportunity to be able to get that done quick, that'd be great. Just so we can get back for phase one."
The ongoing contract negotiations with wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams appeared to have put a strain on the 49ers heading into the season. Purdy is likely trying to avoid any contract saga.
