50 Cent has revealed he's been going at Diddy all because of his competitive spirit.
In the second part of his conversation with Cam'ron on his show Talk With Flee, 50 explained that his shots at Diddy aren't because of a specific beef, but rather because they were competing with each other in the spirits industry.
Diddy had a deal with Diageo, which saw him become the face of Ciroc, while 50 started working with EFFEN Vodka before launching his own company, Sire Spirits.
According to 50, EFFEN modeled his deal similar to Puff's with Diageo, so he began a viral movement to get people off the "Puffy Juice." They were repping two different companies competing for the same space, and 50, the competitor he is, wanted to make his side more popular.
"My corner is over here your corner is over there I gotta make sure my corner feel cooler," said 50. "He wasn't producing any new music or anything new that would make him cooler right at that point, so it's like I'll just stay active and keep putting it out there."
He added, "The motivation of that is competing for brands, and he was ahead of me cause he had been working on Ciroc and stuff like that and then integrating it into our culture with Coco Loso and different things with different people connected to it, so yeah, that's what that was."
50 also revealed that Diddy would do many shady things behind the scenes in business, which only fueled him to attack the Bad Boys Records founder harder.
"He would do a lot of foul shit like behind the scenes," said 50. "He would do some foul shit like hating on like doing things with people I done business with that he done business with like he would say shit that I like, 'He said that to you?' So I was like, 'All right,' you know what I'm saying? You know n***as don't know what they like until they see you with it so they want the girls after you done with them and shit."
