50 Cent has recalled a time he told Lil Durk to keep an eye out on members of his OTF crew and the startling response the Chicago native gave him.
During his conversation with The Breakfast Club, 50 shed some light on his meeting with Lil Durk while they were working on the Power Book IV: Force theme song. According to 50, Durk introduced him to various members of OTF and the Queens native told his younger peer to watch his back with his crew.
"With Durk, I was telling him when he was in New York [when] we did the Power theme [song]. I was like, 'This is them? They the real shit?' He was like, 'Yeah, yeah.' And I said, 'Yo, just watch them.' His crew."
50 then explained how Durk responded in a way that hinted members of his crew were allegedly not who they were cut out to be: "He said, 'You know what? Somebody just came to my house. How did they know exactly what my address is? Who has my address? Nobody.'"
50 was referencing the home invasion incident where Durk exchanged gunfire with intruders back in 2021. The G-Unit boss' comments come after rumors have been swirling that an OTF member was working as an informant for the feds, and led them to arrest and accuse Durk for murder for hire. There's no official word that supports the rumors.
In addition to Durk, five other men, allegedly tied to OTF, were also arrested on charges of murder for hire and murder for hire conspiracy in connection with the 2022 killing of Quando Rondo's cousin Saviay'a "Lul Pab" Robinson in retaliation for King Von's murder.
