£59 bag that 'goes with everything' looks 'just like' £1,520 Miu Miu version

The bags are very similar in design, but the huge price difference sets them apart

Fashion fans looking for an expensive-looking bag without breaking the bank need to look no further than Fiorelli. The brand, which "fuses fashion with function", is selling a mini bag which looks just like a designer version.

Fashion icon Alexa Chung accessorised her Fashion Awards 2024 look with a Miu Miu bag this week, but anyone wanting the look for less this party season could opt for Fiorelli's Ramona Mini Grab Bag, which looks almost identical.

The bag looks very similar to the one sold by luxury brand Miu Miu – but is more than £1,400 cheaper. The Miu Miu’s Wander Matelassé Hobo Mini-Bag, which would set you back £1,520, while Fiorelli's bag comes in at £59.

The large price difference means shoppers can save around £1,461. Price tag aside, there are a number of similarities between the two mini bags - both feature similar soft materials, finished in a shiny gold making it a Christmas party season staple.

Both bags also feature a top grab handle as well as a detachable cross-body strap. However, Fiorelli’s version is made from premium faux leather, whereas Miu Miu’s bag is made from nappa leather and has a quilted texture.

That being said, the resemblance between the two is still uncanny for shoppers looking for occasion bags without the hefty price tag. When it comes to size, the Fiorelli version is sized at H12cm x W22cm x D8cm, compared to Miu Miu’s at H14cm x W17.5cm x D5.5cm.

The Fiorelli product description reads: "With a focus on material and colour, the Ramona mini handbag is made from a premium non-leather alternative with a super-soft feel. Finished in black, our newest style will go with everything in your wardrobe. Carry it from the twisted handle or attach the adjustable crossbody strap to go hands-free."

For those who would prefer a different shade, the Fiorelli grab bag is also available in blue metallic and black. The Fiorelli bag has not been reviewed online yet.

Alternatively, a number of retailers are stocking mini bags in different designs. Pretty Little Thing is stocking the Chocolate Faux Suede Mini Double Zip Circle Grab Bag for £18, while River Island has the black embossed mini top handle cross body bag for £36.

Fashion retailer New Look is also stocking the Burgundy Leather-Look Buckle Crossbody Mini Bag for £23.99, as well as the Black Mini Faux Fur Trim Crossbody Bag, which is on sale for £18.74, down from £24.99.
