90 Day Fiancé star Faith Gatoc opened up about Loren Allen’s cheating after he met her family for the first time.
During the Sunday, November 17, episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans watched Faith, 30, and Loren, 33, take a major step in their relationship when he met her family. However, she told her family that they were “just friends” during the meeting.
After they made their introductions, Faith spoke with her sisters, Abigail and Bea, about the problems she and Loren had faced in their relationship and revealed why they temporarily split.
“He has an STD,” she explained, adding that she broke up with him “because he had sex with others.”
Both Abigail and Bea were shocked by the news, and Abigail expressed concern by saying that “shouldn’t be the case.” However, Bea was more empathetic and said she “would really go for it” with Loren if she were in her sister’s shoes.
“It’s quite hard to find a guy who would take us seriously,” Bea, who is also transgender, told Faith.
Bea went on to explain that dating in the Philippines as a transgender woman was difficult, noting that it is especially tricky since gay marriage is illegal. While Bea said she would also “have second thoughts” after learning her partner had cheated, she added, “I would still accept it because we are all humans and we make mistakes.”
Despite Bea’s encouragement to give Loren another chance, Faith admitted that she was “nervous” about trusting him again. “I’m scared he’ll cheat on me again,” she told her sisters.
“I understand what Bea is saying, but I still want to be respected and loved. And I don’t want to settle with someone who cheats just because I am trans,” Faith continued in a private confessional. “If someone loves me, then he should be able to respect me.”
During the conversation with her sisters, Bea directly asked Faith if she truly loved Loren. After Faith remained quiet, Bea added, “Just tell him the truth and don’t give him any false hope.”
Faith had the hard conversation with her sisters more than one month after fans watched Loren reveal he had been diagnosed with an STD during the September 29 episode.
He made the revelation after Faith tried to initiate a kiss with him during a date in which they went swimming. “You know what? The famous mermaid in the Philippines is Dyesebel?” she flirtatiously told him as they swam together.
After he avoided several of her advances, Loren explained that he fell for Faith because she is sexy and beautiful. “Even before I met you, I said I loved you, right?” he told her. “You know you’re beautiful. You’re from the Philippines. Hard working, right? And you’re serious.”
While Faith said he was “so sweet” for sharing his feelings, Loren quickly changed the tone of the conversation by revealing he was diagnosed with an STD. “I have gonorrhea,” he told her after he avoided another one of her attempts to kiss him. After she appeared confused, he added, “It’s a sexually transmitted disease.”
