90 Day Fiancé star Natalie Mordovtseva is in hot water with fans. The TLC personality was slammed by her followers after she revealed she was “auctioning off” video chats with her in support of the devastating Los Angeles fires, but only donating 50 percent of the proceeds to the cause.
“Starting at a minimum bid of $150, DM me on my exclusive site with your offer,” Natalie, 38, shared via Instagram on Sunday, January 12. “The highest bids will be contacted to schedule a call … I can’t wait to chat with you and help make a difference during this difficult time. We love you L.A.”
Fans were quick to criticize the Ukraine native and called her out for “profiting” during the emergency and not donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the cause.
“Why not donate 100 percent?” one user wrote. Meanwhile, another added, “Why not 100 percent? Very sad to see greed coming from people who profit from people who have lost everything.”
“Yikes do better — Natalie. If you’re going to help, do it but this is looking like you just trying to get paid … sad,” a third quipped.
In a response to a fan, the reality TV alum detailed why she was unable to donate the full 100 percent of the proceeds to the cause.
“The site takes 20%, plus my manager who schedules the calls and handles all the logistics,” Natalie detailed. “I do pay taxes on everything, of course.”
The fires, expected to be California’s most expensive disaster, broke out on January 7 and caused widespread devastation over several days. Dozens of celebrities lost their homes, and on Sunday, January 12, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner reported that the death toll from the L.A. fires had risen to 24.
Fans are currently watching Natalie’s latest run on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, 90 Day: The Last Resort, alongside her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Josh Weinstein.
Natalie and Josh — who began their relationship on season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life in 2022 — had a rocky start to their couples’ retreat experience, arriving at the resort separately. The pair are the only couple attending the retreat who aren’t married. They rekindled their rocky connection after Josh’s son was involved in a scary accident.
Drama quickly unfolded among the TLC couples when Sophie Sierra, who was at the resort with her husband Rob Warne, revealed that the modeling agency CEO had privately messaged her and invited her to Las Vegas.
This angered Natalie and caused a harsh blowup with Sophie, 26, during a night out, where she called the U.K. native a “hooker.”
Natalie and Josh’s relationship appears to have fizzled out since their time on 90 Day: The Last Resort as she allegedly confirmed their split late last year. She said she was on good terms with her ex to film the unfiltered after show, Between the Sheets, which dived deeper into each episode and provided behind-the-scenes commentary and revealing details from the cast that didn’t make it to the main show.
“WE ARE NOT TOGETHER! Whatever you heard, we are not together,” she seemingly wrote from her verified Instagram account on December 26, 2024. “I had to finish the filming for the Between the Sheets and I had to be professional on set and nice so he doesn’t use it against me by saying I’m crazy or can’t control myself.”
