Statler and Dempsey navigated van life together during season 6. However, Statler seemingly hinted before the premiere in June 2024 that she and Dempsey had already split.

“How it feels knowing your ex is living rent-free in the van [and] you are paying $700/month rent for her to do so?” she wrote in since-deleted Instagram posts. “Unable to rent your own place w/out going into further debt while she lives debt free b/c you unknowingly helped her pay off her debts b/c she manipulated you into taking on more. Can I afford her $700/month van rent and my own apartment rent? Find out next time on ‘You’ve been scammed by a British gypsy & everyone saw it coming but you!’”

Statler also revealed in August 2024 that she would not be present at the tell-all. “Accomplished what I needed to in NYC,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Apologies to all the people I didn’t meet – was a bit of a rushed trip! Thanks 90 day/Sharp Entertainment for showing me how truly scared you are of little old me by refusing to have me at the Tell All.”

She wrote about skipping the tell-all again in October 2024. “I am a recovering people pleaser, a recovering walking doormat and it’s become very important for me to speak my truth and to stand in my power,” Statler explained. “This has affected my life, this isn’t just some show. I am now almost 35 [years old] living at my parent’s house.”

She continued, “While I do take responsibility for putting money into this van that was in another person’s name and that’s a hard lesson to learn to trust your intuition … all that would be made a lot easier if what was agreed upon came to fruition. Unfortunately, I’ve been pretty much stonewalled which is why, I have to do this so publicly.”
