Twenty-seven years after the release of their studio album, sisters Vernie and Easther Bennett of Eternal have announced a comeback.
The singing siblings have revealed they plan to return to the spotlight with the addition of Christel Lakhdar, a new band member.
The trio has announced that they will perform a major show at Scalca in London on April 30th.

"New music definitely excites us," Vernie told Bizarre HQ.
"That's where we feel at home. We've started requesting songs. If we get that hit early on, if we write a hit early on, brilliant.

"It's got to be a great song like the ones we made before. I find songs now; they're a hit today, and they're gone tomorrow.
"I think that's why there's such a resurgence of the nineties, because they were songs that transcend time.
"You're never going to get bored of a Whitney Houston track. That's what we're looking for in the new single."
Easther explained that their last album was cut short, and the songs could be re-recorded or re-released.

Notably, the highly anticipated reunion won't include two of the band's original members, Kelle Bryan and Louise Redknapp, though they say their newest addition fits right in.
"Christel is the first person we have taken on board and we love her," Vernie said.
"We couldn't have wished for a better person to join. It feels right."
The news comes just two years after the group was embroiled in a scandal regarding a reunion of all the original members.

At the time, the sisters were accused of saying they would only participate in an Eternal reunion if no Pride or LGBTQ+ festivals were included in the scheduled events.
Bryan and Redknapp said they would not reunite for the performances if the sisters got their way before distancing themselves from their former band.
The performance will be the first from the Bennett duo since their rise to stardom in the early nineties with hits such as Stay and I Wanna Be The Only One.
Eternal officially disbanded five years after former member Redknapp quit to pursue a solo career in 1995.
