A Chrisley Comeback: Savannah’s New Reality Show

4 hours ago 8

It’s been a minute since we last saw the Chrisley’s ruling reality TV. Following the end of their family series “Chrisley Knows Best,” Savannah Chrisley has been hinting that a fresh take on the family’s story was in the works. And while the Chrisley’s have always been known for their quick wit and over-the-top antics, this new chapter is shaping up to be a little different.

With her parents, Todd and Julie, currently serving prison sentences for tax fraud and bank fraud charges, Savannah has taken on the role of guardian to her younger brother Grayson and niece Chloe. That alone is a huge shift from the family dynamic fans are used to seeing, but if we know anything about Savannah, it’s that she’s always going to find a way to keep moving forward.

Now, it looks like a reboot series is finally happening. But, in true Chrisley fashion, it hasn’t been a smooth ride.

From “Yes” to “Nope” Real Quick

Savannah originally had a deal in place for a new show, featuring herself alongside siblings Chase and Grayson, her niece Chloe, and, of course, the always-iconic Nanny Faye. But that partnership didn’t last long. According to Savannah, things took a turn behind the scenes, and she wasn’t having it.

“We were working with a production company, and things were going great. And then, there were some things that were done that I did not like,” she told People in an exclusive interview.. Instead of pushing through with something that didn’t sit right with her, she pulled the plug. “I backed out. I stepped away, and I said, ‘I’m done. I am not working. I’m not getting myself in a situation I don’t feel comfortable and safe…’”

That’s a bold move in an industry where a lot of people would have just stayed quiet and taken the check. But Savannah made it clear that she’s not willing to compromise just for the sake of being on TV.

And honestly? Respect. The Chrisleys have been through enough drama without adding a messy production deal into the mix.

What’s Next? A Fresh Start

Even though the original deal didn’t pan out, Savannah isn’t walking away from reality TV. She’s now working with a different production company, and from the sound of it, things are looking much better. “A network already said they wanted it. Now, it’s just a matter of working out the details,” she explained.

That means this isn’t just a vague idea anymore… it’s actually happening. The new show is expected to offer an unfiltered look at Savannah’s life as she juggles parenting responsibilities, her podcast “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” and everything else that comes with being a public figure. And let’s not forget, Nanny Faye will definitely be involved, which means we’re in for some top-tier one-liners and life lessons wrapped in hilarious delivery.

No word yet on when cameras officially start rolling, but Savannah did reveal that the new production company wants the show to begin airing this year, saying, “I mean, if it’s going to be on air in August… it’s got to start happening quick. So, that’s really honestly all that I know right now.” She went on to note, “I have been so focused on all of my other businesses, and mom and dad, that I let agents deal with the TV side of things.”

It looks like we won’t have to wait too long for the Chrisleys’ big return. And let’s be real, whether you love the Chrisleys or just love the chaos of reality TV, this comeback is going to be worth watching.
