Adele bursts into tears when hugging Celine Dion at Las Vegas residency

Adele and Celine Dion shared a touching moment during Adele's Las Vegas show, reminding us how music connects people. On Saturday night (Oct. 26, 2024), Adele spotted Celine in the audience and couldn't help but reach out.

While singing “When We Were Young,” Adele walked over to Celine, who was watching from a side box. The two stars hugged, both getting teary-eyed as they exchanged a few words. It was sweet to see Celine holding Adele's face, showing such care. Before they parted, Celine kissed Adele's hand – a gesture of respect between two incredible voices.

This isn't the first time these powerhouses have crossed paths at Caesars Palace. Back in 2018, Adele went to see Celine's show there. She even visited backstage and later posted on Instagram: “Queen Celine! What a show, an absolute highlight of my life, thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and insane humor. Happy New Year lady x.”

Celine also shared her thoughts on social media then, saying: “I had a pretty rough time during the last couple of weeks…a lot of people have been hit with cold and flu bugs… but I'm doing much better now. Wasn't able to do all my shows, but was thrilled that Adele came to one of them…. I love her so much!!”

It's heartwarming to see these two supporting each other. As Adele's Weekends With Adele residency wraps up on Nov. 23, moments like these remind us of the special bonds formed through music.
