Too Many Christmases comes on the heels of the BET+ Original film Brewster’s Millions: Christmas which has already set the holiday tone on the streaming platform.
The 1985 comedy remake—which originally starred Richard Pryor—now stars China Anne McClain and Romeo Miller, along with Richard Pryor Jr., and Rain Pryor—the children of the late and legendary comedian. Also appearing in the film are Telma Hopkins, Tequan Richmond, and Sierra McClain.
Brewster’s Millions follows Morgan Brewster, a wealthy heiress who has “lost her way.” When faced with a Christmas challenge to inherit her uncle Monty Brewster’s grandfather’s fortune, she must learn the true meaning of Christmas—”giving instead of receiving.” However, it’s easier said than done as she endures chaos along the way. Viewers looking to get into the Christmas spirit are sure to be inspired with the BET+ app this holiday season.
