Pop sensation Adele has been a source of inspiration for fans globally since her stunning debut with the album 19 in 2008.
However, it's not just her soulful and often heart-wrenching singing that has left fans in awe. In 2020, she surprised everyone by sharing a photo on Instagram showing off her weight loss of around 100lbs, which equates to over seven stone.
The image, shared a day after her 32nd birthday, was accompanied by a heartfelt message from the Easy on Me singer: "Thank you for the birthday love.
"I hope you're all staying safe and sane during this crazy time. I'd like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels. 2020 okay bye thanks x".
But how did she do it? Her methods were fairly simple but were certainly no walk in the park, Surrey Live reports.
Adele's gruelling routine included weights every morning, afternoons spent hiking or boxing and a cardio session to round up the day. However, she insists she avoided any sort of restrictive diet.
Speaking of her initial motivation in an interview with British Vogue in November 2021, she said: "It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone. I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day."
Her journey towards fitness blossomed amidst the turmoil of her marriage ending. The singer explained: "I needed to get addicted to something to get my mind right. It could have been knitting, but it wasn't."
Speaking of weight loss, she credits no fad diets for her transformation. In fact, during her chat with Vogue, she outright dismissed the speculation surrounding her methods, asserting: "You know 100% of the stories written about me have been absolutely fake".

She continued: "I haven't done any diet. No intermittent fasting. Nothing. If anything I eat more than I used to because I work out so hard."
