All Elite Wrestling boss Tony Khan thinks that two-time Academy Award-nominated actor Timothee Chalamet has a real shot at making it in professional wrestling.

In a recent interview with TV Insider, Khan broke down why he thinks that the star of "A Complete Unknown" would be great in the ring and makes a surprisingly good case for it.

In response to the question (prompted by Khan's fandom of the Dune franchise), "How do you think Timothée Chalamet would do in pro wrestling?" the AEW chief answered:

"That's a fascinating question. [Chalamet] is always surprising people. He went on ESPN College GameDay to talk about football," Khan said, referencing a recent viral moment by the actor. "Before his appearance, a lot of the football fans I know were questioning if he would be the right host for ESPN College GameDay and questioning expertise on college football. He had great insights and was a very knowledgeable and entertaining football host who had some very interesting points about the upcoming games that day."

"I think he impressed a lot of football fans then," Khan continued. "I would imagine if he was covering wrestling or talking about wrestling, he would probably do a great job. From what I have seen he does a great job with what he does. He is incredibly talented. Really impressive. So, I would imagine he would do very well in the ring like everything he does."

Professional wrestling is well-known for attracting celebrities into the ring. For example, Puerto Rican rapper/actor Bad Bunny recently expressed his passion for wrestling and his eagerness to return to the squared circle.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, he shared, "I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn't risk it enough before, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother."

Although he hasn't confirmed the exact timing of his return, Bunny highlighted his ongoing communication with WWE, staying "in contact with the people at WWE" and keeping an eye on new developments.

In the realm of celebrities in professional wrestling, President Donald Trump has also made notable appearances, though not as a combatant.

In 2007, Trump took part in the "Battle of the Billionaires" storyline feud against Vince McMahon, which culminated in his headlining WrestleMania 23. Two years later, Trump played a role in a storyline where he bought WWE Raw from McMahon, only to sell it back shortly after.

While there's no indication that Chalamet is considering stepping into the pro wrestling world, he has gained a reputation for taking on unconventional and unique roles.

After all, when Chalamet will surprise fans with performances like these, who's to say pro wrestling isn't next?
