According to an announcement from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) CEO Tony Khan, professional wrestling legend Samoa Joe is making his in-ring return.
Joe will be facing off against Nick Wayne during AEW Collision Homecoming on TNT and Max.
Samoa Joe last appeared on AEW television on July 10 in a Stampede Street Fight against Chris Jericho.
Originally, the match was scheduled to take place on the Wednesday episode of AEW Dynamite, but "flight cancelations from winter weather" led to the match being delayed.
Due to flight cancelations from winter weather, we must postpone tonight’s @SamoaJoe vs @thenickwayne match to a future date.
The match will be rescheduled, + we’re going to all come together to have a great show tonight,
it starts very soon
