This recipe comes from premium kitchenware brand ZWILLING and is perfect for enjoying on the go. Blueberry muffins can be a great breakfast choice or perfect for eating alongside a cuppa.

The recipe makes six servings and takes a preparation time of 35 minutes and a cooking time of 15 minutes.

Thankfully, the dish only takes three simple steps to make and all cooks need is their trusty air fryer.

Even better, bakers can freeze the muffins once cooked and enjoy them at a later date.

That means there's no chance of wasting the food item.

Method:

Firstly, mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the blueberries.Mix everything with a hand mixer using a whisk to form a smooth dough.

Next, stir in the blueberries only briefly on the lowest level or fold in with a spatula.

For better stability, place two paper baking cups on top of each other. Divide the batter evenly between the moulds and place on the grid in the air fryer.

Bake at 180 °C for approximately 15 minutes. Then remove the blueberry muffins and let them cool on a wire rack. Enjoy dusted with powdered sugar and serve. Or save it for later and freeze it.
