Airtel has released two new plans that cater to the audience that needs voice-only benefits. These prepaid plans from Airtel as well as other telcos came after the introduction of the latest norms from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) related to not charging the users for data who only want voice plans. The two Airtel plans are available for Rs 509 and Rs 1,999. Moving forward in this article, we will talk about the benefits offered in the mentioned plans.
Airtel prepaid plans offering voice-only benefits
Airtel has launched the Rs 499 prepaid plan that offers unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls to all users along with 900 SMS in total. The plan also offers a validity of 84 days. Apart from the calling and SMS, users will also have a one-month subscription to Hellotunes and a three months subscription to Apollo 24|7 without paying a penny extra.
As for the Rs 1959 prepaid plan, it will offer the users unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls coupled with 3600 SMS in total. Additional benefits with this one are one-month Hellotunes subscription and three months Apollo 24|7 Circle subscription. Both the mentioned plans can be accessed from the official website of Airtel.
Apart from that, Airtel has also increased the price of the Rs 509 plan to Rs 548. The plan offers 7GB of data along with unlimited calling benefits. And it has a validity of 84 days. Additional benefits offered in this one are similar to the Rs 499 prepaid plan of Airtel. That’s not it, the telecom giant has also bumped the prices of the Rs 1,999 plan and now it is available for Rs 2,249. The plan offers 30GB of data with 3600 SMS and unlimited voice calls. Other benefits in the plan are also similar to what we get to see in the latest Airtel Rs 1959 prepaid plan.
