Alec Baldwin's brother, Daniel, has made a shocking claim about Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sex tapes.

The 64-year-old claimed on his podcast that he heard celebrities are eager to acquire Diddy's sex tapes to prevent them from being leaked.

According to Daniel, he claimed that some A-listers could engage in a bidding war over Combs' private tapes. The actor made the explosive claim on the PBD podcast, stating that he heard it from his attorney and agent friends.

Daniel said: "He [Combs] has videos of the parties. What I heard from friends that are attorneys, friends of mine, that have represented me before said there's a bidding war going on right now. They're driving that price up because if you want your client and your famous actor to not be involved, a famous singer to not come out, here's the price, and that they're just selling to the individuals that are in those. This is what I heard. They're selling those videos.”

Daniel hypothetically added: "If you're Tommy X, and Tommy X is a big movie star, and he was at some of the Diddy parties, if he was in one of those bedrooms with three other men and he's happily married to a woman, Tommy doesn't want that video to come out, he does not want it to come out.

A PR expert in L.A. has also reported that Diddy's high-profile associates are "scared" they may be called to testify against him.

The 55-year-old rapper is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which he denies.

Since his September arrest, which followed the viral video of Diddy allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel lobby, the rapper took to Instagram. In the video, he took full responsibility for his "inexcusable" actions shown in the clip. Meanwhile, Hollywood celebrities who once partied with the Bad Boy mogul have remained tight-lipped.

“Unlike Harvey Weinstein or R. Kelly, the response to Diddy's arrest is massively quiet within the celebrity community," celebrity crisis and PR expert, Eric Schiffer, told the Mirror.

Eric added: "Celebrities are silent because they are scared of their brands being in the klieg lights and bleeding out with fans over ties to Diddy, and worse, getting subpoenaed to reveal Diddy's chamber of secrets."

Combs, once a towering figure in the music industry, is now at the centre of serious allegations involving sex trafficking and exploitation. The music mogul, who faces charges of racketeering, transportation for prostitution, and sex trafficking, which he denies, is accused of orchestrating explicit parties known as Freak Offs in the early 2000s. The soirees were reportedly elaborate, high-profile affairs, which federal authorities describe as days-long sex parties.

A month after Diddy was denied bail again, his lawyers recently filed a new motion on November 8 to release him from jail ahead of his May 5 trial. The rapper was already denied bail in September, with the judge saying the government had provided sufficient evidence Combs was a danger to the community and a danger to obstruct justice and intimidate witnesses. He also said the defence's proposed bail package was "insufficient."
