All About Adrien Brody's Relationship With Harvey Weinstein's Ex Georgina Chapman

This award show season, there are a few names we’ll hear over and over again. Among them, of course, is Adrien Brody, who’s being applauded for his performance in The Brutalist. Not only did the actor take home the Golden Globe for Best Actor in the Drama category, but he’s also nominated for the Best Actor category at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards and the 2025 Oscars.

So, as we all try to get our butts to the theaters to watch his performance, we’re taking a closer look into his relationship with fashion designer and actress Georgina Chapman.

Brody and Chapman have been dating since 2019, and have been supporting each other in red carpets ever since.

As a reminder, prior to their relationship, Chapman divorced disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein in 2017 after he was accused of sexual assault by multiple women. The two were together for 10 years and share two kids, daughter India, born in 2010, and son Dashiell, born in 2013.

While the Oscar winner and Marchesa co-founder met prior to turning things romantic, Page Six reported on their connection after a trip to Puerto Rico for the launch of model Helena Christensen’s swimwear line. In pictures of the event, they’re seen sitting across from each other among other A-list guests like Brooke Shields and Malin Akerman.

June 19, 2021: Brody & Chapman Make Their Red Carpet Debut

After dating for two years, Brody and Chapman made their relationship public in their long-awaited red carpet debut. The pair attended the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of Brody’s movie, Clean.

For the occasion, Brody wore a black suit with a maroon button-down underneath while Chapman wore a lace two-piece set with black, blue and gold.

September 13, 2021: Their First Met Gala

After attending their first red carpet together, the two continued to bring each other as plus ones to events. In September 2021, they attended their first Met Gala together.

While Chapman wowed in a silver dress from her own label Marchesa, Brody looked dapper in a classic black Dior Men suit.

April 14, 2024: Chapman Posts About Brody for the Very First Time

Fun fact about Brody and Chapman: they share a birthday! On April 14, both of them celebrate their big day together.

In 2024, Chapman took their birthday as the opportunity to go IG official.

“Happy birthday my darling twin…so happy to share this day with my best friend #twins #birthday #loveyou,” she wrote in the caption alongside pictures of them together.

January 5, 2025: Brody Gives a Special Shoutout to Chapman

When Brody took the stage to accept his award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama at the 2025 Golden Globes, he ended his speech with a sweet shoutout to his girlfriend.

“To my beautiful and amazing partner Georgina, your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity are a daily reminder of how to be,” he said in his speech. “I would not be standing here before you if it wasn’t for you.”
