Amanda Holden suffers wardrobe malfunction after squeezing into skintight latex outfit

Amanda Holden has revealed that her outfit for the Wicked premiere led to an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

The 53-year-old wore a green latex jumpsuit to the event in London on Monday evening, but on her Heart Breakfast show, she confessed that it was "squelchy" as she walked.

The mum-of-two was left red-faced as she made her way through the audience at the start of the screening, but thankfully, she was able to laugh about it with co-host Jason 'JK' King.

JK joked about the incident on Tuesday's Heart show, playing squelching sounds and saying, "I don't think I can sit down" as he played a clip from Wicked's Defying Gravity.

Amanda replied, "That was me last night in my latex. Oh my gosh, I was poured into that suit last night.

"I had to have, and I can't use the word of the potion that was put in the suit to make sure I could squish into it. It wasn't talcum powder, it was a lubricant, and it was squeezed into my outfit and then I was squished, poured into it.

"Then of course, the minute you start getting warm, your own sweat and glow adds to that. So I was in a very squelchy, but warm [outfit], last night, but probably the only one who was dressed for the weather."

Amanda admitted that the suit was a "mess" when she finally arrived home after the show, which she attended with her 12 year old daughter Hollie, reports the Daily Record.

The Heart radio star wasn't the only one to grace the red carpet in an Emerald City-inspired ensemble. Showbiz reporter and ex-Pussycat Dolls member, Ashley Roberts, also turned heads in a flowing green gown at The Royal Festival Hall.

Wicked tells the tale of Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, and her journey before becoming the infamous Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz. The star-studded cast, featuring Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Jeff Goldbum, have followed a similar promotional style to Margot Robbie's Barbie, dressing in character for events.

The plot unfolds as Elphaba and Glinda form an unlikely friendship after their initial clash as witches in Oz. When Elphaba is falsely labelled as wicked, she sets out to expose the Wizard of Oz as a charlatan.
