Amber Heard is set to become a mother for the second time. The actress, known for her tumultuous relationship with Johnny Depp, has shared her joyous news.
Already a mum to three year old Oonagh Paige, 38 year old Amber was previously married to the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' actor from 2015 to 2017. Their relationship later led to a highly publicised defamation trial in 2022 after their split.
"It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige," her representative conveyed to People magazine. Currently residing in Madrid, Spain, it remains unclear whether Amber is embarking on this journey alone or with a partner
.
Post-trial life has seen the 'Aquaman' star adopt a more subdued lifestyle, moving away from the Hollywood spotlight to Spain following what she described as too much "chaos" after the verdict, which favoured Johnny. Initially settling in Mallorca, she later chose a posh area in Madrid.
Amber announced in July 2021 that she had welcomed her daughter Oonagh three months prior, choosing to have a child "on [her] own terms". She expressed her excitement on Instagram, accompanied by a professional photo of her cradling her baby: "I'm so excited to share this news with you", reports the Mirror.
"Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.

"I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib. A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone's business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.
"My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She's the beginning of the rest of my life."
In the Fire director Conor Allyn previously praised the star for finding happiness following her well-publicised legal battles with ex-husband Johnny, who she accused of abuse. Connor told People magazine: "She's living her best life in Spain with her daughter and just finding happiness in that way..."She is such a dedicated mom [and] really good about making the time [for her daughter].
" According to reports, Amber is bilingual in Spanish and is happy being able to raise her daughter "away from all of the noise".
Johnny Depp took legal action against his former wife over a 2018 piece she penned for The Washington Post discussing her experiences as a domestic abuse survivor, which his legal team argued indirectly labelled him as an abuser. Despite not being directly named in the article, Johnny pursued a lengthy legal battle that concluded in December 2022, with the jury ruling in his favour.
Amber's insurance firm was instructed to pay out $1million (£795,000) to Johnny.
