Amplitude Studios has announced Endless Legend II, the sequel to the turn-based 4X strategy game on PC. Following the developer's split from SEGA, Amplitude Studios is partnering with Hooded Horse, known for last year's mega-hit Manor Lords, to publish the game.
Endless Legend 2 will be released in Early Access on Steam, letting players submit feedback directly to the developers before its public release. The sequel combines elements from Amplitude's previous titles, including Humankind, to build an improved game.
Endless Legend II is set in the oceanic world of Saiadha, which is endlessly ravaged by changing season and tidefalls. Saiadha's wild weather is a challenge for players to overcome as they find new secrets of the land.
Players can select a hero from a variety of factions, all with separate abilities and playstyles. Along their journey, players will have to contend with deepening, or destroying, their relationship with allies and rivals. At launch, the game will have four factions, with two more coming after its public release.
Those who want to test Endless Legend II early can sign up for Amplitude's insider program. It's nice that the sequel is coming out after Civilization VII. If you care more about building an ideal city more than managing an empire, the recently announced All Will Fall should have you covered.
Endless Legend II will be released in Early Access on PC in early 2025.
