Laces BC, Lunar Owls BC, Mist BC, Phantoms BC, Rose BC, and Vinyl BC. The Unrivaled League held its first draft and head coach selection on Wednesday.

Reese was selected for the Rose BC and will play alongside Brittany Sykes, Chelsea Gray, Khaleah Copper, and Azura Stevens.

The head coaches are as follows:

With Reese joining the Rose BC, she will be coached by Nola Henry. Henry most recently spent time as a developmental coach for the Los Angeles Sparks.

Reese was on a tear during her rookie season with the Chicago Sky in 2024. She was neck and neck with Caitlin Clark to be named Rookie of the Year, but her season-ending wrist injury led to her not being able to secure that coveted award.

Still, Reese showcased her elite defense, securing the record for most double-doubles in a season for the WNBA with 15. Reese surpassed the great Candace Parker to secure this WNBA record.

Despite suffering her wrist injury, Reese was constantly in the headlines due to her skillset on the court. Initially, she made it known that the massive amount of exposure for the WNBA wasn't just because of fellow rookie phenom Clark, but she was a huge part of why people were tuning in and showing up to games in record numbers.

Either way, Reese established herself as one of the most exciting players to watch in all of basketball. Now, fans will get a chance to see Reese go toe-to-toe with the other WNBA and basketball elite when the Unrivaled season kicks off in January 2025.
