Angel Strawbridge was left in shock when husband Dick made an error when considering a big change to their family home.
The couple have been renovating their historic 19th century chataeu since they bought it over a decade ago. And on their podcast, the pair were discussing attempting to renovate their "cuisinette" - or "summer kitchen" as Dick explained.
Although Angel, 46, was left asking "are you taking the p***" after Dick became confused about the type of stone they used on the outdoor space; more than five years after they first made the kitchen in the folly of the property.
Dick told listeners they wanted the area of be "beautiful" with shaded spots while working with the building's historic appearance. He credited his wife for making the new area appear "chataeu-esque."

Dick, 65, said: “I was really surprised because I thought it would have to tie in with the front of the Chateau and the Chateau has the colour palette that you chose whenever that one was, and it has the size and shape, it’s Chataeu-esque with the actual stones.
Angel explained: “The Chataeu has always been a mixture of a little bit sandstone and a little bit granite and that’s why the stone we had is a mixture of the two, it was absolutely perfect. Put that on the walled garden and if you take the exact stone in the paths or around that area, it just won’t go.”
Dick went on to say he thought that stone from the property’s walled garden was the same as that at the front of the house. A shocked Angel replied: “Are you taking the p***?”
To which Dick said: “No, I’m serious, I thought you would want more of the same.”

Angel felt the stone was a “million miles away” but confessed it was the same shape. She said: “We got the same stone but in a totally different colour.
“The reason that we needed a different colour is that we needed the warmth. It feels so much more Mediterranean in the walled garden.”
The Strawbridges bought the Château de la Motte-Husson in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, southern France, in 2015. It had no electricity, heating or sewerage at the time.
The couple restored the property, featuring on Channel 4’s Escape to the Chateau. It featured on nine series before Channel 4 ended its partnership with the couple.
