Making breakfast in the morning can sometimes feel like a laborious task, but air fryers have made cooking preparation a lot easier - and healthier.
Air fryers are a versatile appliance which can help you save on your energy bills.
Back in November, chef Sam Stern showed how you can recreate the ultimate boiled egg in the air fryer.
The chef claimed they come out “exactly the same” as traditional boiled eggs.
The eggs are cooked, in the shell, for around eight and a half minutes in the air fryer, before being placed in a bowl of ice water.

After cooling down for two minutes, the eggs can then be peeled, leaving you with a soft, runny yolk.
Although this may save time and effort while making your brekkie, others have claimed that it’s best to cook eggs with traditional methods.
Experts at CPD Online College noted that eggs are among a small collection of foods which shouldn’t be cooked in the must-have appliance.
They wrote: “Although it is safe to cook eggs in an air fryer, the taste and texture may not be desirable. For example, boiled eggs may become chewy and rubbery when cooked in an air fryer.”
The food experts at BBC Good Food agreed. When it comes to making hard-boiled eggs, their texture can be rubbery, with the experts preferring other methods which produce better results.
However, they said that if air fryer eggs are something you want to try, cooking a medium-sized egg straight from the fridge at 125℃ for ten minutes should produce an edible egg.

Another issue which was flagged about cooking eggs in the air fryer is the aroma which lingers afterwards.
Tried and tested by Millie Fender for T3, the air fryer egg hack left her appliance with an unfortunate smell.
She said: “The main downside to this technique is the smell, because three attempts later, there were no amount of scented candles that could get rid of the sulphuric scent from my kitchen.
"At one point my partner even emerged from his office to complain about the egg smell, and looked mildly horrified at the number of partially-peeled failed attempts sitting on our kitchen counter.”
