Popular tipster Jukanlosreve suggested that the production of the first foldable iPhone will begin in May 2025. It is also being said that the Apple device is going to have a foldable book-like design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series by their rivals. High chances are that the smartphone will be launched exactly in September 2026 similar to the iPhone launches we have seen in the past. Furthermore, there is also a possibility that the foldable iPhone will be launched alongside the iPhone 18 lineup.

However, until now, Apple has not even once announced that they are working on a foldable device. But it is being said that Apple is set to have a yearly production goal of 15 to 20 million units of the foldable handset. And yes, the OLED panel of the device will be delivered by Samsung most probably. With no surprise, we can expect to see the best of the tech in terms of processor, display, and a lot more.

Another report related to Apple suggested that the brand will have two foldable devices at the time of the lineup debut. One of them could get a 19-inch display panel along with a smaller variant that will serve as a foldable with a screen slightly bigger than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. On a concluding note, the competition in the foldable market is going to be a fierce one when the two titans like Samsung and Apple will come face-to-face.
