Apple iOS 18.3 all set to release in a week; Here’s what we know

Apple is all set to bring the final version of the iOS 18.3 operating system. And the company has already dropped the beta version for developers and public beta testers. The update is all set to bring some new features to the iPhones along with major bug fixes.

One thing that people should know is that all the users with iPhone 15 Pro and other upgraded variants will not be able to use any other Apple Intelligence feature except Visual Intelligence. As for the iPhone 16 series users, they will be able to add events to the calendar from a poster or flyer with the help of Visual Intelligence. That’s not it as the new feature on the cards will also let the users enable to identify animals and plants.

Apple 18.3 update features that you should know

The Apple 18.3 update has made multiple changes related to the notification summaries after all the controversy it created. Now, the users will be easily able to manage the settings for the notifications summaries from the lock screen. The Cupertino-giant has updated the notification format and added italicized text. Another major highlight is that the feature will ditch making summaries from the News and Entertainment applications.

The update will also bring some improvements to the calculator function of iPhones. The bug fixes are specifically related to the repeat mathematical operation of the calculator. As of now, the release candidate update of iOS 18.3 is already available for a selected batch.

Reports related to the same suggest that iOS 18.3 will most probably be released on January 28, 2025. Until now, there has been no confirmation regarding the same from Apple. Apart from that, we can also get to see the release of MacOS Sequoia 15.3, visionOS 2.3, watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3, and iPadOS 18.3 by the next week.
