Apple’s upcoming Ultra Smartwatch is all set to bring features like blood pressure monitoring and satellite connectivity. As suggested by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Ultra (most probably Ultra 3) will be launched with the mentioned features by 2025.
Apple Watch Ultra 2025 could bring satellite connectivity
As mentioned by Gurman, Apple is working on integrating satellite connectivity to the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra will let the users send text messages through Globalstar’s satellite network in case of low or no WiFi or cellular connection. Previously, the feature was only limited to emergency messages. Nonetheless, it has now been introduced for iOS with which the users can send texts to anyone, even when they are in remote locations.
The feature is no doubt a boon for people who go to remote locations for different purposes like trekking, reporting, and a lot more. The satellite connectivity feature is free for all iPhone users as of now. However, it has not been confirmed if the feature will be available for free to all the Apple Watch Ultra 3 users or if they will be supposed to pay a fee.
Not only this, but Gurman has also said that Apple is going to bring blood pressure monitoring for the upcoming Apple Watch. The feature will keep a tab on the blood pressure of the users. There are chances that the feature will also be introduced for the standard Apple Watch Variant.
Apart from that, we can get to see a major overhaul as Apple is planning to include MediaTek modems in some of the Watch variants. If it happens, then this will be the first time Apple will use MediaTek components in their devices. Well. as of now these are only rumors but we can’t deny the fact that they are from Mark Gurman who has always revealed crucial details accurately before Apple product’s launch.
