When Ariana Grande isnât busy starring in Wicked or putting out new songs, sheâs spending some of her career coaching aspiring artists in their careers. The Sweetener singer became a coach on The Voice three years ago. Now, she explains why she isnât making any plans to go back.
For over 10 years, The Voice has been bringing incredibly talented stars center-stage for the showâs coaches to decide if theyâre in with a shot of stardom. Sitting alongside Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend for series 21, Ariana Grande dabbled in being a mentor. But, she tells Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers of Las Culturistas podcast why that time of her life has been and gone.

The trio get talking about her time on The Voice, to which Ariana tells them: âItâs really fun.â
The singer adds how talented her co-star Kelly Clarkson was, before explaining why sheâs not going back to The Voice in future.

Ariana isnât going back on The Voice
Itâs clear to see Arianaâs a busy gal, with her role in Wicked spurring her into new realms of fame, and inevitably more music on the way in future.
But, when it comes to the Voice, she says the door is closed.
Speaking of whether sheâd ever go back on the talent show again, Ariana replies: âNo.â
The singer adds how the showâs trademark turning chair âwas a good perk.â
But, she explains: âI got so emotionally attached to everyone, thatâs my problem. I canât really do that. I really get in⊠I really get in there with everyone. I love everyone so much. I felt so invested and I still do.â
Ariana continues: âI see them all on InstagramâŠâ adding how sheâs âin touch with some of them,â referring to Bella DeNapoli, David Vogel, and Raquel Trinidad.
To this day, she âsees what theyâre up toâ and says âI get very involved.â
