Asda sends deadline alert for to customers ahead of Christmas

Asda shoppers are in for an important update regarding the Asda Rewards app and given a deadline to make savings by.

Asda's Rewards scheme lets customers gain 'Asda Pounds' by using their app with every shop which are then redeemable for vouchers on later purchases.

Particularly for festive planners, the Christmas Saver Cashpot feature lets you stash those pounds for the holiday season.

Those Asda Pounds parked in your Christmas Saver were locked away, but not anymore.

Asda's latest heads-up to dedicated app users reveals those funds are now ready to unlock but tick-tock, you have only until December 31 to do so.

Shoppers can turn their Christmas Saver bounty into a handy voucher, which is good for shaving pounds off your total whether at checkout counters or punching in orders online, reports the Mirror.

Eager to loop in customers, the team behind Asda Rewards emailed customers and said: "Your Christmas Saver is now available to spend.

"You can convert your Christmas Saver Cashpot into a Voucher(s) and scan on your Christmas shopping.

"If you're shopping online, a converted voucher will automatically be taken off so make sure you only convert it when you need it.

"Your Voucher can be used at the same time as a regular Cashpot Voucher."

And don't dither because those Christmas Cashpot Savings won't see 2025 they expire at one minute to midnight on 31/12/2024.

Remember, any online order must be in by that date without any post-deadline tweaks.

It is not clear if the Asda pounds in the Christmas cashpot expire completely on December 31. Asda has been contacted for a comment.
