Asus refreshes TUF series with three new laptops; GeForce RTX 5070 onboard

Asus has introduced its gaming laptop lineup with a new 18-inch addition to the TUF series at the CES 2025. The latest lineup consists of three machines – Asus TUF Gaming A16, F16, and a new TUF Gaming A18. All the laptops from the series include the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop graphics processing unit (GPU). These laptops also include Intel and AMD processors along with up to 32GB RAM and more. The pricing of the laptops is still under wraps as of now.

Asus TUF gaming laptop specifications and features

Asus TUF Gaming brings an 18-inch display with 240Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. The display of the laptop supports NVIDIA G-Sync and DDS support. It also includes a single-zone RGB Mini LED backlight chiclet keyboard with full-size arrow keys. The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 260 processor coupled with 32GB DDR5 RAM along with 2TB SSD storage.

Connectivity options offered in the same are USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and USB 4.0 por with Display Port support, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more. The device also supports Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E. To deliver decent audio quality, the machine features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and two-way noise cancellation. To attend video calls, the laptop sports a 1080p IR sensor with Windows Hello. It packs a 90Wh battery along with a 240W charging support.

The other two laptops from the series A16 and F16 ship with a 16-inch IPS display and a 165Hz refresh rate. They consist of second-generation Arc Flow fans that keep the laptop cool at the time of extensive gaming. Other features of the laptops are pretty similar to A18. The major difference is in terms of processor as these two can run on up to Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor.
