They met in 2011, were engaged in 2017, and are the proud parents of two beautiful children who are now 10 and seven years old.
But famous Australian supermodel Megan Gale and former AFL player Shaun Hampson have bucked the trend of holding lavish weddings and splashing the pics all over their Instagram pages ... and fair play to them both.
However, the question remains, why?

Now, the real reason has come to light.
Gale, 49, admits her engagement with Hampson, 36, “has been the longest engagement ever”.
But she said when they first started to get serious, their focus was on having children and not about a wedding.
Now, the busy businesswoman (who recently returned to modelling after a 10-year hiatus) has revealed that a wedding just seems like “a lot of work”.
Gale also re-signed with David Jones in September, reuniting with the business that she became the face of between 2001-20013.
“Look, (a wedding) was always something … that we were in no rush to do. Traditionally, everyone’s like ‘get engaged, plan the wedding, have the kids’. I’ve never been a really big wedding girl,” Gale told News Corp.
“The whole lot seems like a lot of work for me. I’m just exhausted thinking about it.”
Hampson played 98 AFL games for Richmond and Carlton. He also boosted his profile with an appearance on reality TV show Survivor.
The couple share two children, a son River, who is 10, and seven-year-old Rosie.
Gale said when Hampson finally popped the question in 2017, she was “overjoyed”.
But again she started prioritising her children.
“(We thought) let’s wait until they’re old enough to be involved (the ceremony) and remember it.”
They certainly are now.
Pressed further about the wedding silence, Gale said “it just became too hard”.
“Put it this way, there’s no rush. We’ve been together 14 years. I think it would be nice to do someday. Watch this space.”
