Don’t be snippy with him.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. underwent a vasectomy reversal procedure after admitting that he and his wife, Lauren Burnham, rushed their decision to stop having kids.
“We said we were done having kids, like, a couple years ago, but I think we’re gonna do it one more time,” Lauren explained in a video shared via YouTube Thursday. “That sounded funny, like, ‘We’re only going to do it one time.’”
The couple are already parents to three kids: daughter Alessi, 5, and 3-year-old twins Senna and Lux.
“As you guys know, I got the vasectomy after the twins were born and ever since then, I don’t know, I think I rushed it,” the “Bachelor” alum, 43, said, adding, “Honestly, it’s more on me.”
Burnham, 33, recalled her husband scheduling a vasectomy six months after they welcomed their twins. While he did consult with her about it first, she eventually got “on board” with his decision.
The professional racing driver then shared the moment he realized he regretted his decision and wanted to expand his family.
“All of our kids are like, the best age right now, and I just felt like, ‘Dang it, I think we can do this again,’” he said. “If we had a singleton, we could totally handle that.”
Burnham said she found it funny that Luyendyk convinced her that “that chapter’s closed” and she “came to terms with that” — only to have him flip his position.
“A little bit of whiplash,” Luyendyk joked, to which his wife said with a laugh, “Yeah, I’m getting there. Arie’s totally there.”
Luyendyk then shared with fans that he found one of the best vasectomy reversal doctors before the video transitioned to footage of him on the day of his surgery.
The motorsports star — clad in a hospital gown and grippy socks with an IV inserted in his arm — was later picked up in the car by his wife.
“I feel pretty good. I don’t remember anything really,” he said, still sounding a bit loopy.
The Bachelor Nation member then returned home where his kids crowded around as he sifted through a gift basket with delicious snacks.

His children were seen feeding their dad a quesadilla as he rested on the couch, with Alessi saying, “Poor dada.”
Last April, Luyendyk admitted that he hastily got snipped after a fan asked if he wanted more kids in the future during an Instagram Story Q&A.
“A year ago I would have said 100% no way,” he wrote at the time. “But im feeling more and more like i rushed the vasectomy. dont know just yet what the future holds [right now] but im loving this stage with them.”
Luyendyk and Burnham met on Season 22 of “The Bachelor” in 2018 but he initially got engaged to Becca Kufrin.
When he and Kufrin ended their relationship in front of cameras, he reignited things with Burnham and popped the question. A year later, they tied the knot.
In January 2022, he underwent his vasectomy after becoming a father of three — comparing the surgery to “being kicked in the nuts as hard as someone could kick you.”
