Bachelor couple Jimmy and Holly Nicholson announce arrival of first child

Former reality TV couple Jimmy and Holly Nicholson have welcomed their first child — a baby boy named Lennox.

The Bachelor stars shared a joint Instagram post to announce the news, posting several photos from the hospital.

“LENNOX JAMES NICHOLSON 🩵,” the post began.

“Introducing our beautiful Lenny boy, who arrived into our lives on Monday evening ... 3.35kg, frank breech and butt first via c section (yes he’s already a stubborn little thing like his parents).

“At the risk of sounding cliché, it’s certainly true what they say, there is no handbook to prepare you for this kind of love overnight.

“Thank you for choosing us little man, waking up to you the last few mornings has truly felt like a dream.

“You already have us wrapped around your very long fingers and toes.”

Friends and followers congratulated the couple in the comments.

The new parents found love on the 2021 season of The Bachelor and married in 2023.

Their baby made history in the Australian Bachelor world — while Lennox is the 13th baby born to stars of the show, he is the first boy.

Lenny’s arrival came just weeks after a major move, with the couple selling their apartment in Bondi and moving into their first family home in Sydney’s northern beaches.

“The end of a chapter & the start of an even greater one,” they said in a post on November 11 sharing a photo in front of both sold signs.

“We cannot wait to share this next chapter of our lives with you as a family of 3 (+ 🐱) as we move to our dream first house on the northern beaches where we both grew up. Let the DIY begin.”

The Nicholsons confirmed they were expecting via a post on June 16, in which they were seen posing on a beach with Holly resting a hand over her growing baby bump.

“COMING 2024!” the caption simply said with a chick hatching emoji.
