The full line-up for Strictly's tour has been unveiled, leaving some fans disheartened by the absence of two major stars. The roster for the upcoming roadshow includes EastEnders' Jamie Borthwick, Wynne Evans, Shayne Ward, and Montell Douglas, all of whom have already exited the competition.
JB Gill, Tasha Ghouri, and Sarah Hadland are set to join them on tour, but semi-finalists Pete Wicks and Chris McCausland will not be part of the ensemble.
Social media was abuzz with fan reactions as one posted: "Oh noooo why is Chris not in the line up? " Another shared their excitement for @jbgill and @tashaghouri but expressed disappointment over favourites @p_wicks01 and @jowitaprzystal missing out.
A third vented: "@p_wicks01 @jowitaprzystal why aren't you at the tour everyone wanted you there so unfair a missed trick definitely so heartbroken and disappointed."
This follows last month's confirmation that despite being a favourite to win the BBC show, Chris would not feature in the live tour starting January. Partnered with Dianne Buswell, he has chosen not to disappoint the legions of fans who have secured tickets to his performances across the UK in January and February, reports the Mirror.
A representative for the visually impaired comic revealed, "Chris has already shifted the dates of his tour to do Strictly and that wasn't an easy thing to do. There were a lot of disappointed people and it was stressful - we got a lot of messages. So he couldn't move them again, absolutely not."

Adding clarity on the situation, the spokesperson continued: "Everyone has been very straight about this all the way along the line. It's a great shame, because he'd love to do the tour, but Chris is not available. He said at the point of signing up that he wouldn't be able to do it, that it wasn't going to be possible, it was always clear."
Reflecting on his unexpected journey, they noted: "The lovely thing is no one could have foreseen just how well it was going to go for him on Strictly. No one thought he'd get this far. But having already moved his tour dates once to accommodate the show, he is unable to do it again. His own tour was pre-planned and came first. There's no way it can be moved for a second time, that just wouldn't be fair on his fans."
