Strictly Come Dancing winner Louis Smith has announced the birth of his second child and shared their adorable first photos

Strictly Come Dancing winner Louis Smith has become a dad for the second time.

The Olympian, who won the BBC dance competition in 2012, shared the exciting news with his followers. He posted his baby's first photo as well as revealing their adorable name. Louis wrote: "Remi Monroe Smith. 7lb 9. Been a wild ride but so happy to say mum and baby are all doing ok.

"Charlie you are so incredible to go through what you did should be so proud. Another experience that changes and shapes you from there after." Louis and girlfriend Charlie Bruce are already proud parents to daughter Marley Valentina, who they welcomed into the world in 2021.

Louis and Charlie were flooded with comments as one said: "A big congratulations to you and your wonderful family." JLS star Ashton Merrygold commented: "Congratulations guys." Former Strictly star Ian Waite wrote: "Congratulations you gorgeous people." Another shared: "Huge congratulations. Sending love light and positive vibes your way. So beautiful to see you both so happy and your little family expanding."

The couple announced they were expecting baby Remi back in June. Louis took to his Instagram page to announce to his 120,000 followers: "It’s so nice we had to do it twice," as he posted a close-up picture of the baby scan. Fans immediately rushed to the comment section to congratulate the star, with one writing: "Amazing news, huge congratulations to you and @charliebruce1990," while another excited follower posted: "Congratulations mate to you and your family on this new addition."

JLS star Aston Merrygold said: "Unbelievable my guy! Congratulations to you all." Love Island's Amber Davies posted: "Omg congratulations" along with a number of heart emojis. Former Strictly professional Ian Waite added: "Aahhhhhhh congratulations." One fan said: "This is lovely news!! Congratulations to you all." Another posted: "Oh wow congratulations to you and @charliebruce1990. Hope you’re both well!"

Charlie also shared their news as her post read: "The best birthday present I could ask for. Due 5.12.24." Olympian Louis also shared Charlie's pregnancy announcement on his Stories, writing: "Looks like we are running it back for round two. Surpriseeee."

Louis, who won Strictly Come Dancing with professional dance partner Flavia Cacace in 2012, announced he became a dad for the first time in early 2021. The star wrote on his Instagram at the time: "What a 3 days it’s been. From Thursday night to Sunday morning. You women are incredible and the mother of my child is no exception. So glad both ladies are doing well and healthy. Marley Valentina Smith welcome."

His girlfriend also shared a photo of the three of them together. “Welcome to the world Marley Valentina Smith. Born at 2.30am on the 14th of February & weighs a healthy 7lb 5oz” she wrote. Louis and Charlie have been dating since 2017 and have been head over heels for each other ever since.
