Fans of the Traitors have predicted that one contestant may have sealed their fate with some 'acting'.
Friday night's episode of the BBC show opened with the news that Livi, 26, had been 'murdered' by the Traitors - who are Linda, 70, and Minah, 29. At the breakfast where her departure was revealed, Linda appeared emotional, but later admitted to viewers that she was acting. Although she was convinced her co-stars had believed her performance, a number of them weren't convinced and it only drew more suspicion onto her.
Retired opera singer Linda was heard saying "no" following the news of Livi's departure and later appeared to be crying. She told some of the group: "Oh god, she's my little girl." Jake noticed the scene and questioned: "Why is Linda crying?" Among the other Faithfuls who reacted was Leanne, who asked Charlotte: "Why did Linda just burst into tears?"
Linda said in a confessional: "I was sorry that I'd murdered Liv, but it had to be done. And I did think 'oh this is a good thing that I can play on to show Jake I am emotional'. I am ready to perform like it's the last role of my life."

He said: "I had a conversation with Linda literally last night. She said to me 'I'm an emotionless person'." Jake, who has been suspicious of Linda since the very first day, said in a confessional: "I feel like more people are clicking on to her maybe being a Traitor."
It wasn't just the Faithfuls unimpressed by Linda's reaction, as fellow Traitor Minah said: "Linda's reaction actually made her look really guilty. If you're gonna cry, you need to actually cry. She overdid the performance." Linda however thought she performed well, saying in a confessional: "I avoided suspicion, I think, doing a bit of crying. It is 100% theatre, and that's what I love."
Newly-returned Fozia shared her belief that they were "fake tears" later in the episode, whilst Alexander questioned how close Linda was to Livi. Alexander said in a confessional: "The sort of overacting felt a bit much to me. That does make me suspicious."
Viewers shared their thoughts on X, with some suggesting that she could end up being caught as a result of the performance. One fan wrote: "Linda's GCSE acting may get her caught finally tonight." Another said: "Linda has flown under the radar for so long and now she's ruined it with her over acting tears." A third wrote: "Linda being undone by her awful acting is just PERFECT."
One person wrote: "Linda believing she avoided suspicion with that awful performance makes me think she is going to be banished tonight." Another predicted: "Why would Linda draw attention to herself by crying which could be seen as guilt, guys I think Linda is going to get banished this episode."
Others were amused by the scenes, with one fan writing: "The fact that Linda thinks she's good at acting makes her more iconic."
