Bears Continue to Make Big Changes by Surprisingly Releasing Player

The Chicago Bears promised that big changes were coming, and those big changes have been rolling out for the past few days. Head coach Matt Eberflus relieved Shane Waldron of his duties and Thomas Brown took over as offensive coordinator.

Now, the team has made another massive change by releasing veteran guard Nate Davis. Davis had just signed a $30 million contract in 2023, and will now have to find a new team to play for.

Davis began to fall down the depth chart and has been a healthy scratch this season. Despite starting in two games, he has not worked his way back to a starting position. The Bears attempted to trade him before the deadline, but no teams moved on the veteran guard.
