Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's kids spent an unusual Thanksgiving together amid Jennifer Lopez divorce

As 2024 draws to a close, Ben Affleck has sought comfort and connection with one person who truly understands. With his divorce from Jennifer Lopez set to be tied up in court until 2025, Affleck has been spending time again with Jennifer Garner, his wife of 13 years.

Since their divorce in 2018, Affleck and Garner have remained cordial at worst and close at best. The acting couple shares three children in Violet (18), Seraphina (15), and Samuel (12), and their recent Thanksgiving celebration together was unusual -- sparking speculation of more strife for Affleck amid an already-difficult time for him personally.

It was an unusual Thanksgiving last week for Affleck, Garner, and their three children -- but according to a report, they celebrated Thanksgiving like one big, happy family, especially since oldest daughter Violet was able to return home from Yale University.

"The kids love having everyone together," an insider revealed, as Garner was said to be more than happy to host the festivities at her Los Angeles home.

In contrast to Lopez's Thanksgiving -- in which her Instagram was flooded with comments about her past relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs -- Affleck and Garner stepped out into the community to work with The Midnight Mission, an organization committed to helping the unhoused in Los Angeles with food, water, and shelter.

If nothing else, Thanksgiving allowed Affleck -- in a time of personal strife amidst his divorce from Lopez -- the chance to give back to his community and generate positive headlines in his ongoing public relations battle with his estranged wife. But amid further speculation that he is cozying up to Garner again...well, only time will tell.
