Ben Affleck is threatening to ruin much more beyond his marriage to Jennifer Lopez. Personality differences between Affleck and Lopez became too significant for the power couple to work through, a standoff that culminated in Affleck moving out of their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion months before Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles.
While Lopez and Affleck move through the agonizing process of divorce, the "Argo" star Affleck has taken solace and found comfort in his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. But the exes are playing a dangerous game that could have huge ramifications in 2025.
Garner's boyfriend fears the worst
Since her own divorce from Affleck was finalized in 2018, Garner has been dating businessman John Miller -- but their six-year relationship is in danger, according to a person who spoke with Radar Online.
Garner and Affleck continue to co-parent their three children, which has been "fine" with Miller. But what isn't "fine" with Garner's beau is how involved Affleck remains in her life beyond raising the children. The event that seemed to tip the scales was Garner's decision to help Affleck give food to underprivileged Angelenos on Thanksgiving, while People magazine reported that Garner and Affleck's families spent Christmas together as well.
"John's fine with them co-parenting. He's not saying she should cut Ben out of her life. But he's sick and tired of standing back while she comforts him and tries to fix all his problems," an insider revealed. "Ben always puts himself first, but Jennifer just can't seem to do the same - and she may end up losing a really great guy over this."
Miller, 46, seems poised to leave Garner, 52, over this issue and more. Garner's willingness to defer to Affleck, 52, is driving a stake through her romance with Miller -- while Lopez, 55, sits back and watches. Only time will tell if "Alias" star Garner can have her cake and eat it, too.
"It's getting to the point where it's really starting to seem like Jennifer would rather be with Ben than him," the insider continued. "And a lot of people are predicting he's going to walk."
