Ben Affleck raced to one place amid the devastating wildfires — his ex Jennifer Garner‘s place.
Fires have ravaged the Pacific Palisades and other areas in Los Angeles the past few hours. As of this writing at least 30,000 people have had to evacuate their homes as the historically strong Santa Ana winds spread the flames. That includes many celebrities — like Ben. The Gone Girl star was seen fleeing his new $20 million house in the Pacific Palisades on Tuesday night. In pictures taken of the actor, you can see the concern written all over his face as he is driving with his arm hanging out of the window of his black SUV amid the blaze.

According to TMZ on Wednesday, Ben was racing to the Brentwood home of his ex-wife Jen Garner, with whom he shares 19-year-old Violet, 16-year-old Fin, and 12-year-old Samuel. He lives close by his baby momma, so he didn’t have to go far. The outlet claimed she had not evacuated yet, though everyone is on standby, and it’s unclear if Ben plans to stay there because he had to evacuate. Meanwhile, sources told Dailymail.com that he went to her place to get their family — and they all have gone to safety together now.
Whatever the case, we’re glad Ben got out and was with his family! Hopefully, they are OK. We also hope everyone in the Los Angeles area is safe. This is such a scary and heartbreaking time right now. Check out the picture of Ben (below):
