Bethenny Frankel Claims Original RHONY Cast Was “Not Friends At All” Before Filming

Former RHONY star Bethenny Frankel dispelled “fake news” about the original cast of Bravo TV‘s hit reality show.

The disgruntled former Bravo employee took to her TikTok page to shed light on the truth about the OGs of RHONY.

Bethenny said the cast didn’t know each other prior to filming:

“Sorry to burst your bubble,” began Bethenny, “but the original cast of Real Housewives of New York … we were not friends.”

I didn’t know Luann; I didn’t even know what a Countess was,” continued Bethenny. Jill [Zarin] was so excited there was a Countess coming in. She didn’t really know her. I didn’t even know what the term [Countess] meant.”

Bethenny continued, “I didn’t know Ramona [Singer], no one knew Alex and Simon [Van Kempen]. People knew of other people in New York, but that’s really it.”

“We were not friends at all. That is fake news. It was just the Alchemy of this group.”

Bethenny hasn’t shied from sharing her thoughts about the RHONY reboot:

Last week, B  criticized the RHONY reboot, even deeming it unwatchable. 

The since-deleted video was of Bethenny demanding justice for Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer.” Bethenny believes the OG cast were the show’s secret sauce, despite them all being replaced for the reboot.

You got like 200,000 viewers watching this piece of trash. So, go get the old girls and dust them off and mix them in. Humble pie is coming in hot.

Andy Cohen abruptly changed his tune on the RHONY reboot:

Just after Bravo’s daddy and Jeff Lewis slammed RHONY’s pregnancy prank, he backpedaled. He even went so far as to say, “I really believe” in the reboot cast.
