Bethenny Frankel slammed the Real Housewives of New York reboot as a “failed attempt,” declared “justice” for the former cast who were treated like “stepchildren,” and claimed the reboot cost Bravo “a lot more money.”

After season 13, the network replaced the entire cast with younger women. The show now has lower ratings, and many fans claim it never returned to its former glory. In the new season, viewers were annoyed that an entire episode was devoted to a prank pregnancy storyline.

On an Instagram Live session, now reportedly deleted, Bethenny addressed the claim the reboot should go “bye-bye” because it’s an unwatchable “Titanic” and “disaster” – and only “30 people in the country have watched it.”

“So this is gonna be a hot take, and surprise,” she continued, via @bravochatroom on Instagram. “But justice for Sonja, Dorinda, Luann, Ramona. Because they were ride or die. That show was on their back.”

“And all of a sudden they all got replaced like shiny new toys,” she said. “They were all sitting on the shelf like Toy Story, hoping someone’s gonna come play with them. And instead, I know that a lot more money was spent on the new cast and the new show. Massive premiere, and like, big deal, big swinging d**ks.”

She said the original cast members have always been treated like “stepchildren.”

“They’ve always been discarded. I know the money they’ve gotten paid. I know the demotions, I know the budgets,” shared Bethenny. “I know the premiere budgets. They know, I know, we know, you know.”

“And you know what? F**king good,” she added. “Because … these women, as they got older, just got dropped off at the side of the road. And Bravo, nice. Can’t leave. You got like 200,000 viewers watching this piece of trash. So go get the old girls and dust them off and mix them in. And humble pie is coming in hot.”

She also claimed the reboot castmates are “produced” and have “nothing to do with each other.”

Around the same time, Bethenny released a TikTok video of herself mouthing the audio: “You know what, I am not as mean as I would like to be. I really wish people appreciated that more.”

Over the video, shared by @byewighellodrama, Bethenny wrote, “POV: Me holding back in chiming in on the internet trashing the current RHONY season … Justice for Ramona, Luann, Sonja & Dorinda who they left for dead in a failed attempt to upgrade to first class.”
