Beyoncé Brings ‘COWBOY CARTER’ To Netflix NFL Halftime Show With Blue Ivy And More

The 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show might have some competition after Beyoncé turned the NRG stadium into an unforgettable all-white rodeo on Christmas (Dec. 25).

Commanding the entire space during the Texans-Ravens matchup in her hometown of Houston, Bey delivered a jaw-dropping performance that transformed the gridiron into a concert venue. The spectacle began with Bey decked out in all-white and perched on a white horse, as she serenaded listeners with “16 Carriages”— marking the first live performance of a COWBOY CARTER track.

She was then joined by country music stars Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, and Brittney Spencer for a harmonious cover of The Beatles’ “Blackbird.” The group’s seamless harmonies were reminiscent of Bey’s girl-group days in Destiny’s Child.

Taking the show to the field, Bey sported a white leotard and matching chaps, where she delivered a high-energy rendition of “Ya Ya” — which is Grammy-nominated for Best Americana Performance. The surprises kept coming as she was joined by Shaboozey for “Spaghetti” and Post Malone for their collaboration “Levi’s Jeans,” which was performed against a denim-clad truck.

Before doing another huge hit from Cowboy Carter, Bey said: “I’m so honored to be in Texas right now. It’s only right we do ‘Texas Hold ’Em’ in Texas for the first time.”

Cheers erupted as Blue Ivy Carter took the field with her mom in a full-on rodeo routine — reflective of the first time the Grammy-nominated teenager joined her mom on stage during the Renaissance tour.

Before concluding her set, Bey performed Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” while cruising in a vintage car and then closed the set with an ethereal ascension above the field.

“Merry Christmas! God bless y’all. Thank you so much!” Bey told her fans watching from all over.
