Beyonce's mom breaks silence on $10M rumor: The shocking truth about her daughter's role at Kamala Harris' rally

3 days ago 4

Beyonce's mother denies that the singer made $10 million dollars to appear at Kamala Harris' Democratic rally in the lead up to the United States Presidential Election after a post online claimed she had.

The Cowboy Carter creator took to the stage at the rally to endorse the 62-year-old candidate, who currently serves as Vice-President behind Joe Biden, but now political rival and opponents are trying to discredit Beyonce's influence.

So Tina Knowles, the 70-year-old mother of the iconic singer, quickly took to social media to shut down the claim that her daughter was given a nice cash boost for taking to the stage during Harris' rally in Houston in October.

"So this has been flagged on Instagram as fake news and taken down," Knowles wrote on Instagram. "It's called False Information. Sadly other platforms with a lack of integrity still have it up.

"The lie is that Beyonce was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. When In Fact : Beyonce did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harrris's Rally in Houston.

"In fact she actually paid for her own flights for her and her team, and total Glam. They are not only lying and disrespecting Beyonce's name but they are trying to further discredit the power of our vice president!! When does the lies and rumors stop? Of course you won't see this in the news !!!!!!."

What's next for Kamala Harris?

Trump eventually went on to win the election with 312 electoral votes meaning that the Republicans, who also won the popular vote, will return to the White House from January 2025 when the 78-year-old is inaugurated again.

For Harris, it's unclear what her next path in politics will be. She previously worked as an attorney in California before representing the state in the Senate, then going on to become Biden's running mate in 2019 and again in 2024.

Then she became the Democratic nominee for the White House after Biden stepped back from candidacy, so she could run for the ticket again during the next election cycle in 2028.
