Billboard Celebrates Latin Power Players List With Exclusive Event | Billboard News

The invite-only celebration during Billboard Latin Music Week took place at Casadonna Miami and was sponsored by Johnnie Walker.

Superstars, industry execs and more. Billboard Latin Music Week honored the scene’s most influential folks in the genre, and we have all the details. Billboard’s Latin Power Players came together for a cocktail party presented by Johnnie Walker Blended ScotchWhiskey, and it was an evening to remember. At the exclusive event, honorees mingled and celebrated at Casadonna in Miami with apps, a photo moment and custom cocktails like the Johnnie colada and Johnnie Cafe made with Johnnie Walker Black Label. Most notably this year’s Executive of the Year, George Prajin was presented the honor by Peso Pluma. 

Peso Pluma:
George, I would like to thank you for all you’ve done for me — not just for me, but also for my family. I told him yesterday very honestly that I have three father figures in my life, and one of them is him. I just want to say congratulations, George, and thanks, you’re the damn Executive of the Year.

Leila Cobo, Chief Content Officer of Billboard Espanol, shared some special words for Rimas Entertainment for the 10 Year Impact Award.
