Mark Cuban is a billionaire

Becoming a billionaire is no easy task. But, Mark Cuban is shedding some light on what it takes to get there in an exclusive interview with People.

He says ‘luck’ played a big part

While Mark admits “hard work” did go into what’s made him so successful, he does say a lot of it was “luck.”

“That was luck — being able to do all the work and learn how all the technology worked, that was work. The other half though, I had no control over,” he explains.

Sharing his knowledge, Mark adds: “Life is half random.”

The Shark Tank star continues: “It’s what you do with the half you can control that really sets a tone for your entire life.”

He adds that it doesn’t matter how many times you “fail” in the business world, “you only have to be right once” and he adds how then, “everyone will say you were an overnight success.”

Mark delves into how his “splurging” days are over. When he first began making riches, he said he was splashing the cash on “houses and planes.”

But, now he and his wife, Tiffany Stewart, have reeled it in. Speaking of his other half, Mark adds how a lot of his success in life comes down to her.
