Binky Felstead caught in unfortunate car break down

Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead was filmed being looked after by the police after a terrifying car breakdown.

Binky, 34, seemed to be enjoying a day out with her MIC co-star Rosie Fortescue, 34. Their relaxed outing took a sharp downturn, however, when Binky’s four-wheel drive gave up on them.

Rosie broke the news on her Instagram stories, filming Binky as she covered her face while sitting in the vehicle. The car’s horn wouldn’t stop blaring, and an incoming police car grabbed even more attention from passers-by. “SOS @binkyfelstead we’ve broken down,” she wrote.

In another clip from Rosie, she joined Binky in the car and asked: “What happened, Binks?”

Binky was shown with her back turned to all the car windows, and explained: “I’m too scared to look out of the window, there’s lots of angry people driving past,” as her friend laughed. Rosie added “Tatters,” on top of the clip of her embarrassed friend.

Binky then shared a post of her own, showing her view through the windshield. The photo showed that she was stuck at the entrance of a busy roundabout, stopping holidaymakers from getting to Heathrow and commuters making it to central London. “Probably one of the worst places to break down in London. Mortified,” she wrote, alongside a facepalm emoji.

Things got even wilder in the final video, showing both Binky and Rosie sitting in the back of a police car. The friends were giggling with embarrassment in the car, with Binky covering her face as she stood out in a bright yellow high vis jacket.

“Always a first!” she wrote over the clip, hilariously adding the song ‘Sound of da Police.’

Thankfully, Rosie posted an update later on, sharing a photo of herself posing at celeb hotspot Soho Farmhouse. “Made it!” she exclaimed.

While Binky stayed in high spirits during her roadside troubles, she recently admitted she was struggling with changes in her family after her mum Jane Felstead's diagnosis with MS (multiple sclerosis).

"I haven't got to grips with the new relationship yet, the dynamics change so much so when she comes over, she's like another child again. She needs help with cutting her food, she can't go to the loo on her own, she can't do anything on her own anymore. It's a huge amount of change,” she said on Beyond Chelsea, which she stars in alongside Rosie and fellow MIC alum Lucy Watson, 33.

"It's a lot to witness when you see someone you love so much deteriorate so quickly,” she shared, adding, "I'm missing a mother, my mother, she's the mummy I used to have, of course she's still my mother, but it doesn't feel the same anymore.”

Binky divulged: "I'm finding it really weird even seeing her in a chair and giving her a hug and kiss, it doesn't feel like it's the same person."
